He tried not to pay too much attention to the people who were watching the trial. It threw him off. He needed to focus on his competition and the judge. No jury for this. They didn't use them in appellate courts. He just had to make sure to impress that man up there and be better than Jerry. He knew him well. He tried to look sophisticated and like an operator, but the sad truth is that he wasn't. He'd trip over his own feet if he bothered to move much at all.

The dog and pony show slowly came to a close for the day. They had done everything they could and Harvey had taken a few pot shots at Jerry in the process. Breaking his confidence in this matter was going to help. A man thrown off his game meant he wasn't paying attention to every single ball that was up in the air. That mean anything could hit the ground at any given moment.

They are adjourned and he bid a farewell to his client. They had to wait on the system to review the evidence that had been presented. It was all a waiting game now. Harvey had to cool his jets and step out of his shark mode. He stood in the hallway outside of the courtroom and rubbed the back of his neck.
