It was there and she could hear it. It sent a thrill of pride through her to know that while he could make grown men cry in court, she could turn him into a puddle in the car ride back to his office. Not that she was going to share that knowledge with anyone in the near future.
Looking at him when he removed his sunglasses, she followed suit, her eyes showing him just how much lust was driving everything she was saying and doing. And though her hold on his leg had softened, it didn't stop her from using her fingernails to draw small patterns now on the inside of his thigh.
"You should," she agreed quietly, the tip of her tongue darting out to wet her lower lip. The thought of what he could do to her in the car sent a skitter of pleasure up her spine and he hadn't even touched her. "I can't tell you what the thought of going into that office and pretending that I don't want to have you inside of me is going to do to me."
