He was halfway across the cement and on his way to the doors before Annie had managed to pull herself upright and onto the seat of the car properly. And she still hadn't managed to catch her breath properly. The car smelled like... well, like her and she just knew the driver was well aware of what had happened in there based on that alone.
She wasn't even sure she could walk.
Lifting her purse off the floor -- had it been in her back that whole time? -- Annie slid along the seat and then placed one very wobbly foot onto the ground. Thankfully, Bernie was a gentleman and took her hand to help her to a standing position. Smoothing her skirt, Annie took a couple of shaky steps before it all evened out and then she followed Harvey to the elevator.
Once there, she gave him a look before running her fingers through her hair. Her cheeks were flushed, her clothes were still a little mussed and if she really was walking a straight line, it was a miracle. She had to look thoroughly debauched and he was probably loving it.
