It was easy for Annie to see where Harvey's love of sarcasm around her came from -- he used it everywhere. She had to admit, though, it was kind of amusing to see it in play when it came to other people; he was just ruthless. At least with her, he was usually playful.
Also fascinating was the way that other people shrank away from him when he was in that mode. At least the men did, as if they knew they couldn't compete. Women subconsciously leaned forward to get a better look and Annie, as someone who read people for a living, found it all beyond... well, neat.
As the proceedings came to a close, she tilted her head to watch Harvey get it all done, a small smile on her face.
