BAMF Lawyer Tactics 101

Harvey Specter was a cowboy. A gunslinger. He didn't go by the traditional rules that came with being a lawyer. There was no niceness to the opponent unless they were an old friend or he had slept with them in the past. Usually it was pretty ruthless. He would go for the jugular and he wouldn't let go until he had won. His personality in the courtroom was pretty similar to the one outside of it. He didn't take shit and he detested incompetent idiots who couldn't find a defense to save their ass. Fuck them. He was the top dog.
He invited Annie to this hearing because it wasn't one that focused on hand holding and corporate buyouts. It was one of his past cases from when he worked under Cameron. He was trying to help someone he had managed to successfully fuck over back when he was a blind idiot. He could help him now. He could do his damn job. Jessica was giving him that freedom. God fucking bless that woman.
The argument was reaching a lull and the man had practically been talking for an hour. It was probably only ten minutes, but it felt longer to Harvey. He wasn't going to stop either. His head slipped from the comfort of his hand and he wobbled. The judge cleared his throat and asked if they were disturbing Harvey. Bingo.
"Little bit, Your Honor. I thought this was supposed to be a hearing. I wasn't aware that we were gonna listen to Jerry blow smoke up his ass for half an hour." He smiled brightly and shrugged his shoulders. "Am I the only one who feels this way?" Out came a short chuckle and he glanced at Jerry who was practically about to shoot lasers out of his eyes.

If he wasn't careful, she had a feeling that his smartass attitude was going to get him in trouble. There had only been a very few times in her life that she'd had to go before a judge, but never - not once - had she had the gall to back talk one. True, lawyers had a little bit of leeway, and she knew Harvey had more than most, but this... well, she had a feeling this was going to be interesting.
